Trade and Non-Trade Apprenticeships
Develop a skill and earn the opportunity to join a union.
Trade apprenticeship programs in Hawai‘i are run by or in partnership with local labor union chapters. Most of the time, you will apply to an applicant pool, and they will give you a placement when a suitable one becomes available. Apprentices should be paid with benefits during their training time, and will most likely become a union member after finishing the apprenticeship period.
